WhatsApp has always worked to make sure people’s security from cyber criminals but cyber criminals still find a way to breach WhatsApp’s security and scam people. There is a group of scammers on whatsapp who start the conversation with Hello Mum or Hello Dad.
Not Only UK but this group of scammers started targeting some other countries as well, they will text you like a known person like a brother, sister, friend or any relative. They will eventually ask you for money. Most of the people started believing it true, and became victims of those scammers. People end up losing their wealth within seconds.
It is advisable to everyone, be aware of such scammers and do not lose your hard earned wealth to them. Do not transfer money without verifying the person. First verify that either the person texting you is really your relative or not, then help them if they need it. As the scammers are spreading all around so be aware and don’t let someone scam you.
