Don't want Strangers to see your last seen on WhatsApp?

Most People don’t want stalkers or strangers to see their last seen on whatsapp if there number is not saved in the contacts. If you are one of those people then here is a good news for you.

WhatsApp is updating their privacy measure by not allowing unknown numbers or contacts that didn’t chat with you to track your last seen status and online status. These updates are already being updated in WhatsApp Business and some people are already noticing that they are not able to track or check the last seen/online status of some contacts and business accounts. 

The reason WhatsApp took this step is there are some third party apps on play stores that enable a user to stalk someone’s last seen status. They actually give you whole stats of time when the user was online and when the user went offline. Also they calculate the time the user spent in one session. Some of those apps are totally free and some are providing trial or limited tracks. Their way of business is they offer you a trial period for sometime then they ask you for subscriptions to go on with their app.

WhatsApp was aware of such applications and finally has decided to update it’s privacy measure to prevent your last seen record from such users who you don’t or who want to stalk you. Now people who you haven’t chatted with yet cannot see your last seen status or online status. WhatsApp always takes care of their user’s privacy and tries to keep them away from hackers, scammers and Stalkers.
